Catherine Horzen, Chief Executive Officer

Catherine created Peligo in 2018, starting the business with a vintage style wood beach chair. She originally built each chair by hand and is still active in the process from time-to-time. Partnering with familiar hotel brands nationwide, Peligo beach chairs can be found in commercial settings as well as in the hands of individual consumers.

In 2022, Catherine expanded the Peligo brand introducing men’s and women’s activewear. In collaboration with the team, she looks forward to further growth and expansion of the Peligo brand.

Emily Horzen, Design Associate

An associate on the design team, Emily joined Peligo in 2023. She brings fresh ideas and current trend expertise to product development, with a focus on graphics and artwork. The graphic submissions she produces are created free-hand and incorporate fine detail that enhance the overall quality of the art.

At Peligo, she most enjoys the opportunity to be creative and learning the strategic and business aspects of the company. And… (her words not ours)… she looks forward to “helping Peligo populate the world.”

Outside of Peligo, Emily currently holds a private pilot license and is pursing a commercial licensure.

Laura Bravo, Chief Operating Officer

Laura joined the Peligo team at the outset of 2022. Possessing a Masters degree of Business Administration and boasting a lengthy and distinguished career in healthcare technology, she brings her exceptional leadership skills, business focus, and unwavering enthusiasm to our burgeoning enterprise.

The prospect of fresh opportunities invigorates Laura and she wholeheartedly believes in the Peligo mission.
